Recently I was asked if I’d read it.

- Of course, I did, I answered. It’s kind of classic.

- So what do you think of chapter 11? Have you tried it?

- I read it for a long time. What’s this chapter about?

- About sexual energy.

Should I mention that I reread the book and started with chapter 11?

The author calls sexual energy one of the most ancient and powerful. By learning to control and direct it in other channels, we can get a strong driving force.

From the book: “Sex desire is the most powerful of human desires. When driven by this desire, men develop keenness of imagination, courage, willpower, persistence, and creative ability unknown to them at other times. So strong and impelling is the desire for sexual contact that men freely run the risk of life and reputation to indulge it. When harnessed, and redirected along other lines, this motivating force maintains all of its attributes of keenness of imagination, courage, etc., which may be used as powerful creative forces in literature, art, or in any other profession or calling, including, of course, the accumulation of riches.

The transmutation of sex energy calls for the exercise of willpower, to be sure, but the reward is worth the effort.”

As an impressionable girl, I started to think about my sexual energy. My level of awareness on this topic turned out not to be very high: I don’t really know my fantasies, I don’t have any sex blueprint. In order to manage and direct your energy, you have to understand how it was generated and accumulated.

It’s actually one of the least developing areas in my life. I know what I like and don’t like, what I consider as safe and not safe. Current experience is more a repetition of what you already know than exploring new things.

Well, there were some plans. I wrote to Dyamond that I don’t want to postpone them anymore and let’s explore.

In our relationship, I think I am the person who comes up with ideas, but it’s not a fact that I’ll implement them because somewhere along the way I can get involved with a new one.

Dyamond is more of the person who makes the result with his hands. Well, for example, if it were not him, I’d have slept on the mattress because the bed needs to be assembled, and the chairs would also be in the box, most likely. That is, he is one of those people who does things while others write about what they want to do (as I do now).

Usually, he answers with a short yea or lol. It’s how my ideas start to come true.

I don’t know yet what exactly we will include in the exploration and when we stop, but I think it’s gonna be fun.

Don’t ask for pictures.

Well, briefly about how the book was written, since it all started with it.

Napoleon Hill was a journalist commissioned for a series of articles on the successful careers of famous people. First on the list was Andrew Carnegie, one of the richest people on the planet at the time. Hill made a deep impression on Carnegie, who blessed the reporter for a job that was to take twenty years. It was supposed to take in-depth interviews with 500 of the most successful Americans and come up with a universal formula for success, suitable for people of even the most modest abilities. Hill’s interlocutors included Henry Ford, William Wrigle, Clarence Darrow, Luther Burbank, and three American presidents.

In 1928, exactly twenty years after his landmark conversation with Carnegie, Hill published his first book.

So, in addition to chapter 11, there are still some others with different advices, but I’ve already put my intention on 2021.
